Snow White: The Classic Tale

Once upon a time, in a faraway kingdom, there lived a beautiful princess named Snow White. She was known not only for her stunning beauty but also for her kind heart. Her skin was as white as snow, her hair black as ebony, and her lips red as the rose. However, her stepmother, the Queen, was vain and jealous of her stepdaughter’s unmatched beauty.

The Queen often visited her magic mirror to ask, “Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?” At first, the mirror would reply that the Queen herself was the fairest. But one day, it shocked her by saying, “Snow White is fairer than you.”

Enraged, the Queen ordered a huntsman to take Snow White into the forest and kill her. Reluctantly, the huntsman obeyed but, moved by Snow White’s innocence, he let her go instead. Snow White wandered deep into the woods until she found a quaint little cottage belonging to seven dwarfs—Doc, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, Bashful, Sneezy, and Dopey. They welcomed her warmly and allowed her to stay with them.

Every day, Snow White helped the dwarfs around their home while they worked in the mines. One evening, the Queen disguised herself as an old peddler woman and gave Snow White a poisoned apple. Snow White took a bite, fell unconscious, and appeared dead. Heartbroken, the dwarfs placed her in a glass coffin atop a hill.

One day, a handsome prince came across the coffin. He kissed Snow White, breaking the spell of the poison. Snow White awoke, and the two fell in love. Together, they returned to the kingdom where the Prince married Snow White, and they lived happily ever after.

Thus, the tale of Snow White reminds us that kindness, purity, and true love can overcome even the darkest envy.
