Desperate, she lit all her remaining matches, hoping for more warmth and comfort. As the last match flickered, she imagined herself sitting beside a grand Christmas tree, surrounded by loving family members. They smiled at her warmly, and she felt a deep sense of belonging.

But the next morning, people found her lifeless body by the wall where she had sat. Though she had died in the bitter cold, her face wore a peaceful smile. Some say she had been visited by angels, while others believed she had simply escaped the harsh reality of her life.
